ABOUT HAWKEYE
I’ve traveled all over the world and been able to capture some of the most soul renewing moments, and I am excited to share them with you. I’ve experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows, and one of the things that always brings me back to center and refocus on God and what’s important is being in nature and being in awe of something magnificent.
I love flying my drone into difficult to get to locations and capturing unique shots to help inspire myself and others to embrace adventure, creativity and loving life to the fullest. Hopefully you experience these emotions and more every time you look at your Hawkeye Drone Photo & Video purchase.
This is a passion not a job. Half the profits are donated to a charity where the photo was taken.
When I am not flying my drone, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter as we travel full time across the US in our RV.
What Drone do you use?
I use a a few different drones depending on the environment or the shots I’m wanting to achieve. Some of the ones I use or have used are: DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mini 3 Pro, DJI Mini 2 and Amafi Parrot USA.
What do you use to edit your photos?
I use Lightroom CC for the majority of the editing process but put the final touches on each image in Photoshop CC. And for video I use Premiere Pro. I also think the iPhone 13 pro editing tools are great!
About me:
I am saved by grace and love God, family, flying drones, fishing and my dog. After 20 years in the corporate world I am excited to pursue other passions like drone photos and videos!
In addition to drone photos & videos, I find inspiration from reading Truth and authors like CS Lewis, watching movies about epic victories that happened over the course of time under extraordinary circumstances, personally taking on a challenge to do something most people think is impossible… and learning from the wisdom of great philosophers like Rocky Balboa when he said, “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”
Regardless if you are going though a season of pain and suffering or a season of triumph and victory, I hope that you find inspiration from some of these Hawkeye Drone Photos & Videos. Enjoy!
How do you afford to travel so much?
Many of the trips I go on now are paid for by the companies I'm working with. But I was still traveling quite a bit before any trips were paid for. Traveling doesn't have to be expensive if you're careful. The first thing you have to do is live a lifestyle that allows you the time and money to travel. Live cheaply, and save for the next adventure.
Here are a few resources I use to travel on a budget:
Where are your favorite places so far?
I’ve been able to travel all over the world, my 11 year old daughter has been to 30 different counties… and I almost always have my drone with me. Some of my favorite travel destinations are Iceland, Croatia, Singapore, Bali, Maldives, Ireland, Scotland, Italy… and my favorite spot is Alaska!
